Group Reformer I

This 60 minute class is the next progression after taking Intro to Reformer. You will master beginner level exercises and begin to incorporate intermediate level exercises.

GROUP REFORMER III (ADVANCED)

This 60 minute class is the perfect blend of strength training for the first 30 minutes utilizing a different variety of training apparatuses each session, followed by a cardio driven 30 minute ride to leave you with a complete, well-rounded, all muscle encompassing workout!  Are you ready?

CIRCUIT TRAINING 

Ability to incorporate the basic principals of pilates required before taking circuit classes.  You will rotate from the reformer, the cadillac, the ladder barrel, the stability chair, the spine corrector and the arc barrel in this fun small group class.  Circuit is ideal for the client looking to add variety and fun to their workout while targeting all muscle groups with different apparatus.

Group Reformer II

Prerequisite is Refomer 1 or prior working knowledge of the essential level exercises performed on the reformer.  This class will cover intermediate and advanced exercises.

Cardio Tramp

A fun twist on traditional Pilates Reformer class! Get your cardio on by horizontal jumping while also getting an all encompassing body challenge like no other on the reformer!

REFORMER/CARDIO TRAMP FUSION

This high energy class blends traditional exercises on the pilates reformer for half of the class and adds the Cardio Tramp for the second half of class for a unique horizontal jumping experience, resulting in a well rounded and fun workout!

SELF MYOFASCIAL RELEASE (SMR)

Fascia is your body’s three-dimensional connective tissue matrix. It encases and weaves through muscles, organs, and bone to bind all your distinct parts together as one. If an area of your body becomes stiff or develops adhesions or scar tissue, this can create a pull on the fabric of the myofascial network, affecting the entire chain. In this class you will use self-myofascial release techniques with props like foam rollers and balls to address trouble spots, and target your overall nervous system for the whole-body optimal health.

YOGA

This is a favorite and is held every summer.  Experience a yoga class in a way that will leave you renewed, refreshed and refocused after taking in the amazing sights, smells and the feel of outdoor yoga.  Look for the sign at the entrance of the Silver Lake Area of Side Cut park.  Pre-payment is required for this class due to park regulations.  

 

vinyasa flow

This 60 minute non-heated power class will incorporate continuous flow with various postures allowing for heat to build and ending with rest and relaxation.  This style of yoga follows the natural laws of the body, which dictate balance and counterbalance, control and surrender, pose and repose, adaptation and acceleration. Students get all the benefits of the more traditional methods while still leaving room for creativity and play.

SLOW flow

In a typical Slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a Flow class. Courtney will lead you with a pace that is meditative, and will emphasize peace and calm in your body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath.

GENTLE FLOW

Gentle yoga with Courtney is essentially what it sounds like—a gentler style of hatha yoga practice. It is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. Who doesn't need a little of this right about now?

RESTORATIVE WITH MEDITATION

This is a slow and prop heavy class to stretch the body and calm the mind. Props are used to assist holding poses longer, allowing the body to comfortably experience each position. Incorporates breathing practices , as well as a guided meditation during an extended Savasana at end of the practice. Appropriate for all levels. Ahhh!

ACTIVE RECOVERY YOGA FOR ATHLETES

Designed for athletes, this class moves beyond flexibility. This 45 minute flow works to improve blood circulation and mobility, to release lactic acid build up from tough workouts and will help facilitate recovery for optimum performance in the week ahead. In this session you will also work on breath control and mental focus to reduce stress, increase pain tolerance and improve sleep quality, all key in athletic performance.

STRENGTH + STRETCH

This class combines the perfect balance of building strength with various pieces of small equipment, some cardio components and ends with a nice variety of stretching to aide in recovery. This class can can be done by all levels since modifications will be given as needed.

CIRCUIT

Keep the FUN in exercise! This class moves you through multiple stations of timed strength/cardio movements and rest. Your coach will push you to complete the designated number or rounds until you work EVERY SINGLE MUSCLE! Time will fly!!!

SCULPT

This class is a perfect addition to your favorite cardio class! Body sculpting, also called weight training, resistance training or strength training, is a form of exercise which uses external weight or resistance or your own body weight to stress the muscles. The end result is newly toned or sculpted muscles. Body sculpting can help you get in shape, tone the body and lose weight.

KETTLEBELL

Are you interested in burning fat, building muscle, increasing strength and stamina? Then this workout is for you. Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness; endurance, strength, balance, agility, and cardio endurance. As a complete full body workout, this class wraps up with 15 minutes of core concentrated work utilizing the kettlebell, leaving your with one incredible workout! * As a courtesy to the studio, please give at least a (12) hour notice when cancelling GROUP X classes and at least a (24) hour notice when cancelling reformer, private or personal training sessions.  You will be charged for the class if cancelling within this window.  Clients that have Platinum or Unlimited passes will have the fee charged to their credit card on file.  There are often clients on a waitlist, so this will also allow them to prepare to attend if you are cancelling out. 

We know unforeseen emergencies can arise, just discuss with your instructor in that situation.  Thank you for understanding. We take pride in programming each class and session to the specific individuals in that class or session and appreciate your understanding.
