Jodi Walters

Founder - Level 1 Fascial Stretch Practitioner, Pilates Full Certification, TRX, Total Barre, Group Fitness Instructor

Fitness has always been an integral part of Jodi’s life. An avid runner, she ran the Chicago Marathon twice and has competed in several others half marathons, 10K and 5K races. The mother of three busy daughters, she has spent the last several years coaching cheerleading, as volunteer Chairperson for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo’s Annual Golf Outing, volunteer Chair on the board of Equipped Kids and served as worship leader and small group leader for youth at Fallen Timbers Community Church, as well as a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.

In searching for ways to improve running and lessen the risk of injury, Jodi became interested in pilates. Realizing how the Joseph Pilates method of exercise benefits the mind and body, she began her journey to become an instructor. With several methods of pilates to choose from, the clear choice was a career in Stott® Pilates, a world class leader in the pilates industry . Jodi completed her training and obtained full certification in the areas of Mat, Reformer,  Cadillac, Chair and Barrels at the United States first Stott® Pilates training center, Equilibrium Pilates Studio in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and their satellite training studio, The Movement Center and Gyrotonics in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Understanding the importance that fascia plays in the body and the amazing benefits of fascial stretch therapy for all types of bodies, Jodi completed her Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapy certification in April of 2019 at the Gold standard for assisted stretch training in the industry, the Stretch to Win Institute in Arizona. Jodi has also completed TRX® Group Suspension Training and enjoys training clients with the suspension trainer.   The intensity of suspension based training, as well as the ability to incorporate the principals of pilates into a TRX® workout, is a great addition to anyone’s exercise repertoire. Looking to bring pilates on a personalized level to the area, she opened Driven Fitness Studio in February, 2013, where small, intimate classes focus on the client’s individual goals in a bright and motivating setting. Driven Fitness has since expanded while stile maintaining an intimate class feel in a roomier setting. Whether it’s athletic conditioning, general toning, injury prevention or injury rehabilitation, Jodi loves sharing how pilates, fascial stretch therapy and cross training in various exercise modalities can benefit all ages and all abilities.

beth lardinais

Group Fitness Instructor

Hi, my name is Beth Lardinais. I have a BS in Dietetics, BS in Pharmacy, TRX Certification, and Group Exercise Certification.  I wasn't always active or in shape. In high school I was slightly overweight.  It was my senior year of high school that I started running and working out to make a change. That's when exercise and a healthy lifestyle became so important to me, leading to my degree in dietetics then to pharmacy. It was just recently that I became certified in group fitness and TRX. Exercise and staying healthy became a very important part of my life. Exercise helps you stay physically and mentally healthy, not to mention it's FUN! With as much as I love working out I thought becoming a Group X Instructor would lead me in the direction of helping others reach their goals and help them to maintain their health. I enjoy teaching Tabata and Bootcamp classes.  The upbeat pace and the variety the classes offer are fun for me!  I also enjoy participating in Yoga and Barre classes for a well rounded workout to strengthen the mind and body.

I am happily married and have two precious rescue dogs, Joni and Stevie. I work as a Pharmacist. I love animals more than anything you could imagine. In my spare time I love taking walks outdoors with my dogs and enjoying the sounds of nature all around me!

Group Fitness Instructor

My name is Michelle Gasiorski and I’ve been teaching group exercise classes for 3 years. My husband Rich and I and have 4 kids, aged 11-28. I was PiYo LIVE certified in 2016. At certification I was asked what brought me to PiYo – what was my “PiYo story?” After a bicycle crash, resulting hospital stay, and major fitness loss, PiYo helped me gain back my strength, stamina, and athletic confidence.  My favorite aspect of PiYo is that it is for everyone; those looking for intensity and those needing options to modify. I can’t wait to share my passion for this format with you! I’m also certified in Mossa Group Power (weight training) and can teach circuit style classes. I’ll bring fun, positive energy to my classes while we work up a great sweat. I look forward to getting to know everyone at Driven Fitness!
